In 2005 Lifespan Company Limited was incorporated.

2005 - 2009

In 2005 Lifespan Company Limited was incorporated. Owners Devon and Nayana Williams began the process to bring Portland’s best kept secret to Jamaicans island-wide.

In 2006 the first bottles of Lifespan Spring Water begin to make their way to market.

In 2007 Lifespan Spring Water became more accessible to Jamaicans all over the island with the purchase of its first truck.

In 2008 Lifespan Spring Water goes island-wide with the company signing its first distribution deal.

In 2009 Lifespan got its first loan from the Jamaica Business Development Corporation for business development and expansion.

In 2011 Expansion takes place and Lifespan Company Limited. Blowing own PET bottles.

2010 - 2014

In 2010 Lifespan Spring Water acquired the land by the source.

In 2011 Expansion takes place and Lifespan Company Limited moves into a 9,000 sqft building by the Source.

In 2012 Lifespan received the prestigious Jamaica Manufacturing Association’s 2011 Eddie Hall Award for New Manufacturer of the Year.

In 2013 Lifespan started exporting to the UK and started blowing its own 5L bottles.

In 2014 Lifespan was awarded a Bold One of manufacturing by the National Continental baking Company. Lifespan signed a distribution deal with Grace Kennedy’s World Brands.

Expansion takes place and Lifespan Company Limited moves into a 9,000 sqft building by the Source.

2015 - 2019

In 2015 Lifespan was featured on NCB’s Capital Quest, a reality TV series. Massy Distribution (JA) Ltd was the main distributor of Lifespan in Jamaica.The Company also expanded its facility to 15,000 sq ft. and ugraded its equipment and went automated.

In 2016 Lifespan and Massy Distribution (JA) Ltd severed ties in March and CPJ became Lifespan's main distributor locally.

In 2017 Lifespan maximized its capacity leading to another major expansion.

In 2018 Lifespan built out its warehouse space to over 35,000 sqft and invested in additional equipment.

In 2019 Lifespan embarked on a restructuring of its organization and the roll out of the SAP B1 ERP system.

2020 - PRESENT

In 2020 Lifespan transitioned to another major distributor T. Geddes Grant just around the time the Covid 19 Pandemic impacted. The company took this time to improve its IT capabilities and start implementation of its SAP B1 ERP system in its effort to integrate all departments, improve efficiency, accountability and transparency.

In 2020 Lifespan Spring Water was a recipient of a Grand Gold Quality Award from Monde Selection, the International Quality Institute led by a panel of independent experts.

In 2021 Lifespan Spring Water was again a recipient of another Grand Gold Quality Award from Monde Selection. Lifespan was awarded with a Quality in Business Certificate from the International Trade Council and was also the proud recipient of the International Trade Council 2021 Legends in Business Award.

In 2022 Lifespan was once again awarded the Grand Gold International Quality award for the third consecutive year.

In 2023 another Grand Gold International Quality Award was awarded to Lifespan for the 4th Consecutive year and our CEO and Quality Assurance Manager traveled to Brussels, Belgium to receive.
In 2024 Lifespan earned the 5th consecutive quality award in addition to an International Superior Taste Award as well as the International Quality Choice Award in the Diamond category from the European Society of Quality Research (ESQR).
